We have been working hard to get our new repair shop up and running. first of course was to clean all the stuff out.
Then insulated walls and ceilings. followed by plywood and sheetrock. our progress so far

yeah that’s the old dying shed with tin roof! the new is much nicer! And my test post seams to be working sorry for the size issues!

I was thinking we could kill two birds with one heater - How about a waste oil burner to heat the shop? There are a bunch of home brew options, but this one looked pretty reasonable, and can burn regular fuel oil also should we ever run out of waste oil....

I do like the idea, we might not have enough waste oil, but the fuel truck should be full and we can add as needed.
I also like Dave’s idea of a wood stove as a Supplement on days or weekends when we will be there a full day.
Do any of the waste oil heaters burn synthetic? I have not researchEd them very much.
