Goal: clean up tractor barn by removing 'support' equipment. Provide storage areas for lawn equipment, excess building materials, and golf carts.
Currently, golf carts, the zero turn, mowers and construction equipment are necessarily housed in the tractor barn, a building that should be museum only.
I'm proposing to clear back the overgrowing trees behind the tractor barn and add additional fill where needed to expand that area as much as practical. We can build 200 sq foot sheds that do not require building permits, etc.
Beginning at the rear center door of the tractor barn (as far back as possible) and going south, we would place 4 buildings 10' X 20' with 10' between them. Two building would house golf carts (4 per building), one building dedicated to grounds maintenance, and the fourth to building tools, excess materials, and perhaps batteries/charging.
Concrete slab on grade for easy access, 2x4 walls, 2x8 roof rafters, two sets of doors 8' x 8' on the front, saltbox roof style with perhaps some overhead storage.
I have pipes installed for power currently at that point. Estimated cost per building is about $3,000.
We have nothing cut at the moment from the mill, but the requirements are not large.
thoughts?
