road re-alignment at Sawmill

We have been talking and looking at the issues at the sawmill with water and mud running into the take out side of the mill, as well as difficulty removing finished stacks of lumber. The loop road runs right next to the north corner of the mill making any regrading difficult with regard to maintaining the roadway for the hay wagon.

During shows there are a lot of spectators around the mill making navigating with the hay wagon a little difficult at times. We've been talking about a spectator lane all the way around the loop to the outside of any vehicle traffic. It is non-existent from the rear repair shop to the woodworking shop.

So, moving the road to the left of 4 trees from the woodworking shop to the repair shop looks like a great solution. Last weekend Dave moved and sorted the logs stacked in the proposed path, and we cleared the remaining buckets, booms, etc. to make way.

We need to re-grade the slope down to the repair shop to lessen it and probably replace some of the loose sand with a gravel roadbed. I'll post a couple of pictures tomorrow and talk about it at the meeting.
